Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan said flood at RW 06 Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta is happened due to collapsed emergency embankment of Pulo River.

Sandi Will Survey Flood-Prone AreasHe explained, settlement was inundated for one meter high because emergency embankment was collapsed. Thus tens of residents were evacuated on the second floor of Sabili Mushola.
He admitted, his side also summoned Jakarta Water Resource (SDA) Dept. to repair it soon after monitoring to the location. SDA Dept. has started the work last night around 11 PM.
"I know it is my responsibility about what happened yesterday. I will instruct my subordinates and make sure everyone will be responsible," he stated.
